Hi! I'm Nathalie Benson
I went from brokenhearted widow to Kingdom Architect
I wasn’t supposed to be here—not like this.
I didn’t choose the title “widow,” and I certainly didn’t feel strong enough to carry it.
When my husband died, my world shattered. I faced deep grief, financial chaos, and an identity crisis I never saw coming.
There were nights I couldn’t breathe through the pain.
Days I didn’t recognize myself in the mirror.
And moments I felt forgotten by God.
But in the ruins, something sacred happened.
God met me.
He didn’t rush me—He recreated me.
He whispered purpose into my pain and gave me a new mantle: to help other widows rise, reclaim and be recommissioned.
Now, I lead a growing movement of women who are refusing to stay stuck in sorrow.
Through encouragement, practical tools, and a sisterhood of strength, I help widows recreate their lives with purpose, passion, and joy.

"My life is changed forever!” Those were my words when I returned home from Nathalie’s widows retreat last year. I went sort of kicking and screaming (inside of course!) thinking, “I really don’t want to spend a whole weekend with a bunch of grieving widows!” Oh, but of course… I guess I was one of them! I am going to be really honest here, I was not interested in any group of widows especially from a woman who did not look like me. I had come across @Nathalie Doss Benson offer a day after I had changed my FB status to widow. What drew me to her was this glow on her face. She seemed joyful. I was not joyful at all. I was hurt, disappointed, angry and despondent. I wanted joy, hope again but I didn’t know where to start. I joined her 3 day challenge and was blessed to become apart of her offer. She guided us through being vulnerable, honest and opened to Gods will, love and mercy. We were able to connect through zoom calls once a week to a 3 day retreat with other women who are so much more than friends. They are my family. We encountered the presence of God in a very real way. This was my first trip alone that was just for me. Not my kids or grandkids. I chose life after walking through the valley of the shadow of death and was reborn a widow warrior. I am indebted to this group of warrior widows until my last breath!

What a gift I received when I discovered the virtual event led by Natalie Benson. The friendships formed and the weekly sessions helped me process walking through life without my husband. Even during major holidays, we would gather on a Zoom call so we could connect and encourage one another. At the end of the year, we were able to have a retreat held at Nathalie's home in Southern California, that impacted each of us. Once again, I was able to laugh. She helped us to close one chapter in our lives, and move on to the next. Meeting these ladies in person and spending three days with them was a gift I will treasure forever.
